Top 10 Tuesday: OTPs

Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010. It combines what I love most in this world into one—lists, books, and blogging. It couldn’t be any better suited for me! This week, since Valentine’s Day is coming around the corner, I’m talking about my favorite OTPs! I’m going to break the rules a little bit this week and include some TV and movie OTPs as well as book OTPs.

1. Ron Weasley & Hermione Granger
— Harry Potter
I loved them from way back in the first book when he saved her from a troll, because what’s more romantic than that? First they develop as individuals, and then they develop as romantic love interests, and I think that’s what I love about this relationship most.

2. Jace Wayland & Clary Fray — The Mortal Instruments
What’s better than forbidden love? Nothing really. And Jace is the perfect first bad-boy love interest for Clary.

3. Elena Gilbert & Stefan Salvatore — The Vampire Diaries
Both in the book and the television series, Stefan is the one. I haven’t kept up with the series since season 5 (I think), and I know she dates Damon, but seriously? It’s Stefan all the way. He’s broody and dreamy and so swoon-worthy.

4. Jim Halpert & Pam Beesly
— The Office
I told you I was going to deviate from books because I recently watched “The Office” and fell head-over-heels for Jim Halpert. He’s so unbelievably in love with Pam and it’s the most adorable thing ever. You can’t help but cheer when they get together.

5. Katniss Everdeen & Peeta Mellark — The Hunger Games
They survive the Hunger Games together, they can survive anything together.

6. Noah & Allie
— The Notebook
I stand by the belief that if Noah can write Allie a letter every day for a year, a boy can text me back. It’s not asking for much. But I do think Noah set unrealistic expectations for me that no boy can live up to.

7. Han Solo & Leia Organa
— Star Wars
“I love you.”— Leia
“I know.” — Han
Best I love you ever.

8. Rory Gilmore & Jess Mariano — Gilmore Girls
I always thought he was best for her, and in the end, he totally is. He’s the only one of Rory’s love interests that understands her relationships with books and gets her back on the right track after she leaves school.

9. April Ludgate & Andy Dwyer
— Parks and Recreation
It was a little weird at first, but everyone grows to love April and Andy because they are 100% themselves around each other, and that’s what makes love true and strong. They say the things that no one really says about love, and that’s what makes them all the better.

10. Me & Any book I can get my hands on today
Because I’m single and totally ready to mingle — in the Barnes and Noble aisles.

Who are your favorite OTPs? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy reading,
Kimberly
