Happy Friday! This week was a whirlwind — in the best possible way. I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend since my boyfriend is out of town. I’m going to bake some holiday cookies, take a long bath, and read so many books. Let’s get into what’s been catching my eye this week!
one | the best crime and thriller books of 2020…
As we all know, I love thrillers. This is my favorite time of year because I get to build my 2021 TBR list based off of all the “best books of 2020” lists.
two | these tips on reducing anxiety and stress this holiday season…
This holiday season feels just a tad bit more stressful than any other holiday season because of the pandemic, so I’m sure we could all use some tips for reducing those feelings.
three | these knock-off uggs…
I needed these boots. It’s that time of year where I can’t just slip shoes on without my toes freezing, so I thought it was a good idea to invest in some warm shoes I won’t get annoyed with putting on.
four | this book about a traveling troupe during a pandemic…
I’m glad I’m only picking this book up now because if I’d known about it at the beginning of this year, I would have been even more of a wreck than I already was. Station Eleven follows a traveling troupe performing Shakespeare in a post-pandemic world that doesn’t have running water, electricity, or the Internet. The story switches between the present day and the days leading up to the pandemic, and so far, it’s completely captured my attention.
Happy adventuring,
Kimberly
