Happy first week of December! I can’t believe we have almost made it through 2020. The year with seven Marchs is finally, hopefully coming to an end. I’m not going to lie, this week was a weirdly tough one. I had a nagging health issue pop up again, and I had to get that taken care of which always messes up my week, but I am so lucky to have friends that take care of me and a boyfriend who is always willing to bring me dinner and watch crappy TV with me.
I’m going into this weekend excited! My boyfriend wasn’t here for my birthday, so he has a whole weekend planned, and I have absolutely no idea what to expect. I can’t wait!
Let’s get into what’s been catching my eye this week!
one | this round up of the best books of 2020…
I love this time of year with all the wrap-ups. I tend to put a lot of “best books” and “best movies” on my TBR and TBW lists for the following year, so I’m excited to keep finding lists like this as the year comes to a close.
two | these jogger sweatpants…
I’ve never been a sweatpants girl — I always thought they made me look really weird. But, I found these joggers at Old Navy, and I love them. I haven’t taken them off since I got them. They even look kind of cute with my Converse. I’m highly considering getting another pair, possibly the tie-dye!
three | this customizable planner…
I was looking for a new planner for 2021, and I ended up stress-buying this one from Golden Coil (please tell me this is something other people do). I’m actually really excited to start using it since I think it combines everything I love about a bullet journal without the need to do any art (I am not talented). I can’t wait to update y’all on how I feel about using it.
four | the best books to give as gifts…
Still looking for Christmas gifts? I know I am. Any book on this list would make a perfect gift for anyone in your life.
five | this book about a girl who no one can remember once she leaves their site…
I picked up The Invisble Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab this week to participate in a read-along on Instagram, and I am already loving it. Addie made a deal with a stranger that left her immortal but incapable of leaving a lasting impression on anyone she meets. Until one day, someone remembers who she is, and everything changes. I already know I am going to fly through this one given the time.
Happy adventuring,
Kimberly
