December 2020 Goals & A November Update

How in the world is it already December? 2020 felt like it passed by in the blink of an eye. Surviving a pandemic and election year was just the icing on the cake of a surprisingly difficult year. I hope to finish 2020 on a strong note, so let’s get into my December 2020 goals.

November 2020 Goals Update

one | read all the books on my November tbr
I finished The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls this month from my October TBR. I also finished City of Girls from my November TBR. I still have to finish Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria and Assasin’s Apprentice from my October TBR and A Conjuring of Lightand Big Little Lies from my November TBR. I haven’t read all the books, but I have read some which is a good start!

two | complete marketing courses from Julie Solomon
Unfortunately, I didn’t touch these this month. Things were a little crazier than I expected, but hopefully, I can tackle these courses in December.

three | practice a “no spend” month
I did pretty well with this! I did some spending on Black Friday, but other than that, I pretty much stuck to my budget!

four | go to bed by 9 p.m. and wake up at 5 a.m. during the work-week
I would say I scored a C on this goal. While I worked out more and stuck to this schedule, for the most part, I was also thrown by some of life’s fun little surprises.

December 2020 Goals

one | prep for 2021

I love starting a new year off on a good foot, which for me, means planning! Creating yearly goals, quarterly goals, and monthly goals is a start. I’m excited to create a new TBR, set up new savings goals, and cultivate a vision board. I thrive off of the new year, and I’m hoping 2021 is a bright one.

two | create Christmas crafts
I absolutely love the look of this holiday tassel garland, and I think my roommate and I are going to have a craft night where we make it. I’d also love to decorate a Gingerbread House, and maybe make a paw print ornament for Maggie.

three | workout for at least 30 minutes every day
I’m trying to focus on small changes leading to big results, so I’m starting by implementing a 30-minute workout routine every day. I started this in November, but I’d love to make it more consistent with doing it every day.

four | December TBR list
Fingers crossed I can finish my October and November TBR list, but I also hope to finish Conversations with Friends and start Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

Happy adventuring,
Kimberly
