Catching My Eye | 10.02.20

TGIF. This has been one heck of a week, let me tell you. Between the pandemic and the election, I feel like I just can’t catch a break this year. I’m trying to remind myself to just take one step and then another, but sometimes that’s harder than you think. Anyways, nothing is really “new” with me per say, so let’s get into what’s been catching my eye this week.

one | this work hack to keep your day running smoothly
I am looking for anything and everything that will help me cope with my workday. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still loving working from home, I’m just in need of a few tips and tricks to encourage productivity. I love the idea of time-blocking, and this power-hour seems like the perfect trick.

two | these resolutions for the rest of 2020
2020 is not a waste of a year. Check out these fun resolutions you can accomplish in the next three months.

three | this anti-frizz hair oil
I got my hair cut a few weeks ago, and she told me every product she used. It’s a ton of money to get all the products (about $120), to me, but my hair has literally never been softer. I made my boyfriend touch it, and he was legitimately shocked. I’ve only completely invested in this hair oil, and I swear it does 90% of the work to make my hair soft and manageable.

four | the how-to guide on making your home screen aesthetic af
I haven’t done it yet, but I’ve definitely been drawn into the aesthetic home screens people have been sharing on social media since the iPhone update.

five | this hate-to-love romance featuring the First Son of the Prince of Wales
I am finally picking up Red, White, and Royal Blue. This contemporary-romance is all about the kids of the leaders of the free world. First Son Alex and Prince Henry are forced to spend quality-time with each other after causing massive mayhem at the royal wedding. But will they actually end up loving the forced friendship more than they thought? I can’t wait to see how this romance unfolds.

Happy adventuring,
Kimberly
