My Ideal Morning Routine

Confession time: I’ve been off my A-game for quite some time now, but I am ready to get back into it. I don’t know what happened, but I have not been able to get out of bed lately! I used to be really good about waking up early and getting in a workout and reading time before work, but lately I’ve been rolling out of bed at 6:30 with barely enough time to pack my lunch. I thought it would be a good idea for me to share what my ideal morning routine would be to help me get back in my groove. Let’s get started!

I have to be in the office by 7:45 a.m., so I know my morning routine is super ambitious, but I’m the most productive in the morning. I’m also at my best when I get a lot of “me” time in the morning — most of my evenings are packed with networking events and meetings, so if I don’t do my self-care activities (reading, meditating, working out, and journaling) in the morning, it’s really hit-or-miss if it will get done after work. I’ve started scheduling one night in per work-week to make sure I don’t burn myself out (hi, hello, I’m an introvert), but I still feel like implementing this morning routine would really help with my productivity throughout the day.

What do your morning routines look like? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy adventuring,
Kimberly
