I moved! Yesterday was exhausting, I’m still unpacking, and my life is in absolute shambles, but I moved, and I am so excited! I had been living in the same place since I moved to Nashville, and it was a great place, but I’m excited about this new adventure! I’m living with one of my littles from my sorority, and we are both so thrilled to be living together after talking about it for so long. Other than moving, nothing is really on my brain. I’m looking forward to throwing out things that don’t bring me joy (I know I should have done this before I moved, but we all have our faults and packing poorly is mine), organizing my life, and settling into our new place. Let’s get into what’s been catching my eye this week…

BTW. I met my podcast heroes Grace and Becca last week thanks to my friend who surprised me with meet and greet tickets. If you haven’t started listening to Bad on Paper, I don’t know what you’re waiting for. I reference it at least three times a month here.

1. This article about the healthy relationship tip we can all learn from The Bachelorette
I know how The Bachelorette ends, and I don’t want to talk about it. What I do want to talk about is this healthy relationship tip I hadn’t even realized the show had been teaching me. It can seem a little forced when the participants on the show over-share about their past on the first date, but it’s always heart-warming to me when the Bachelor or Bachelorette thank the person for sharing something personal. It’s so small, yet so big.

2. This brightening eye cream
I’ve been using Rodan + Fields skincare for the last six months, and I absolutely love it, but I’m looking for a more sustainable option that’s also cruelty-free, and this little bugger dropped in my lap.

3. This round-up of comfortable linen sheets
As I said, I moved yesterday! And while I love my sheets, I’m also looking to make my new place an actual home. An upgrade to some nice linen sheets might be just the ticket.

4. This advice on how to make friends as an adult

I feel like everyone wants to know how to make friends at all times and no one has really cracked the code. I enjoyed the variety of stories shared in this article. It kind of proves that there’s no right or wrong way to make friends. For instance, one of my favorite friendship stories is from when I slid into my friend’s DMs asking if she wanted to go to CMA Fest with me. You never know what could happen!

5. This book about a strong female running for office
I’m currently reading Charlotte Walsh Likes to Winand I’m not too far in, but I’m loving it so far. It’s about a strong woman running for the Senate in her hometown. She’s struggling with balancing her career with being a mother and a wife, and on top of it all, she’s got a big secret that no one can ever find out.

What’s been catching your eye this week? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy adventuring,
Kimberly
