Happy new year! We are starting this year off right with a discussion about our favorite fandoms. I really don’t consider myself as a part of any fandom since I don’t actively participate in them, but I obviously do enjoy a lot of series books. Here are my favorite fandoms in no particular order. 1. Harry Potter I think I’ve talked about it enough that you all know I’m pretty into Harry Potter (I even went to The Wizarding World for my birthday!). I’ve read all the books at least 10 times. I’ve read them in ascending and descending order. I’ve read them on planes and in trains. I’ve owned…
Top 10 Tuesday: Resolutions
Top 10 Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010. It’s a fun way for bloggers all over the Internet to connect and post the things they love about books. This week we are veering a little of course to talk about what’s on every body’s mind — resolutions. 2016 is bright, new, shiny year and that means putting our best foot forward. Here are my resolutions (book-related and not) for the next 362 days (that’s right, we get an extra day for the leap year!). 1. Make my bed every day Such a simple thing that effects your whole day! It helps me keep my room…

I have an addiction to planners, and what better time to get a new planner than at the beginning of a new year? Here are some pretty awesome planners as compiled by Buzzfeed. 5. I don’t know about you, but classes have already started up at my school. I’m taking a literature class this semester, and it should definitely be interesting! Happy reading, Kimberly

2015 in a Nutshell
Happy 2016 everyone! I can’t believe 2015 is over! It seriously feels like yesterday I was counting down to it and hoping for an amazing year. I couldn’t have asked for more out of 2015. It wasn’t all good, but there were so many amazing memories I wouldn’t trade for the world. Here are my highlights of 2015: Gut2Web — Gut4Life 2015 brought me the opportunity to travel abroad. My school runs on a three semester cycle — we have a fall and spring semester, but we also have a winter term (also known as J-Term because it is during the month on January) that is one month dedicated to…

Book Haul: Christmas Edition
Hello friends! I hope every one has had an amazing holiday, regardless of what you celebrate or even if you celebrate at all! This time of year is perfect from spending time with family and books. I normally wouldn’t post anything about presents I’ve received, but I got so many books this year that I simply had to share with you all this amazing book haul! (Side note: This is in no way me bragging about anything I promise! And if you feel like it’s braggy at all, just click the little x in the right hand corner of your screen!) Merry Christmas! (And happy holidays!)
To everyone that celebrate, Merry Christmas! And to those who don’t, happy Friday! I hope every one has had a merry day. In lieu of posting my regular review on this fabulous Friday, I want to remind every one to treasure the time they have with their families today and take joy in the simple pleasures life brings us every day. We shouldn’t need a holiday to remind us to be thankful for the little things in life. So take a break today from the hustle and bustle of life and appreciate the family and friends you have all around you. Merry Christmas and happy reading, Kimberly
